Great Career Opportunities

At Kim Driver Training we want to offer the best opportunities to everyone. If you’ve been thinking about a change of career, or have found it difficult to find a good, well paid job then driving a HGV may be a good choice for you.

How Much Do HGV Drivers Earn?

Once you’re fully qualified you can expect to earn £35,000 per year according to Indeed. This will rise with experience. If you are very experienced, or an expert in handing difficult loads you could earn much more. With years of experience you could even start to run your own haulage business, then the only limit on your earnings is how fast your business grows!

First Steps

As it can be difficult to take the first step for your new career Kim Driver Training now offers finance options. This will help to pay for the all-important training. It’s important to get comprehensive training from experts if you plan to drive for a living. Our courses are always competitively priced. The right finance at the right time can really get your career on the right path. As HGV drivers are in such high demand you will always be able to find work. If you’re willing to work irregular shifts then there are really great earning opportunities out there.

Driving a HGV isn’t for everyone, but if you think it’s the right job for you we can make it happen! It sounds obvious, but you’ll need to enjoy driving and have a full drivers licence for a car before you start. Take a look at our car to HGV courses, and if you’re not sure about which course will be right for you please get in touch. We’ve been training people to drive HGV’s for years and want to ensure you’re on the right course for you.
