What is the difference between Class1 HGV and Class 2 HGV?

The major difference between class1 and class 2 HGV is that class 1 allows you to drive the category C+ E Vehicle which is an articulated lorry. Whereas Class 2 allows you to drive a category C vehicle which is a rigid vehicle.

What is the age requirement to drive an HGV vehicle?

The minimum age requirement to drive an HGV is 18 years. This industry does not specify any maximum age limit to drive vehicles, as long as you are fit and pass your ongoing driver CPC you can continue to drive.
